Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, aka Ari Lennox, was born in Washington, D.C. on March 26th in 1991. She is an American singer-songwriter and the first artist to be signed by J. Cole to his record label Dreamville Records. Her first EP, Pho on October 21 2016, was released by Dreamville Records. She began to gain fame. Shea Butter Baby her debut studio release was May 7th 2019. Ari Lennox started uploading music on the internet in 2012 when she launched her mixtape debut Five Finger Discount, and her debut EP Ariography in 2013. In 2014 she continued to release her music on the web, including her own release single Bound. The track Sweat it is featured on Omen's Elephant Eyes album, which was released on July 21st, 2015. J. Cole had her send her songs for the Dreamville Team later in the year, as he wanted Rihanna to be able work with her on some references.
